Re: SBC Steps Up for Texas Church
I have a hard time picturing the CoC ever doing anything like that.

Re: Survey: alcohol consumption
Islam is the religion of no alcohol, not Christianity. I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner several times a week and consider it a blessing from God.

Re: How did you get into the church of Christ? SURVEY
Hi war eagle. I seriously doubt that the CoC wants its members to know and be aware of the history of the Stone-Campbell Movement. If the members knew the truth about the CoC, they would quickly realize that it is really just another denomination instead of the "One True Church" they claim...

Re: Struggling to find grace
Welcome to the board. Far too many of us have been damaged by the legalism of the CoC, and the lack of understanding of grace that characterizes most CoC congregations. It's a sad and difficult existence when you feel like you have to be 100 percent right and correct all of the time, and believing t...

Re: "So, you think we are going to hell?"
A favorite line of the CoC is that anyone who leaves them and begins attending a different family of faith/denomination has "turned their back on God". Don't let them suck you into this. If you leave the CoC and begin attending (for example) the First Christian Church, Baptist Church, etc,...
