On the topic of which day of the week...this is how I would approach it, sort of backing into it since it is not specifically defined. Why would John use the phrase if nothing specific was intended to be conveyed...so it must have meant something. Also, it would seem odd for the new religion adheren...

But then that would be offensive to Mormons since they hold that the Indians merely derived from the Nephites after they became corrupted. So they can't be first nations.Lev wrote:... If I were I'd probably go full Canadian and use the term "First Nations."

But it is a cool picture of a horse and rider. Sadly the suffering of the Indians continues even today on many reservations, but I am not so sure it is leading to personal growth. Perhaps this picture, or an image of pretty much any other person, could replace the detestable portrait of Andrew Jack...

I get the notion of contrasting a cold dead religion with a vibrant faith/spirituality. That is an easy and obvious dichotomy with a black and white contrast...one is defined as lacking and one is defined as good. So yeah, I get that and everyone wants to put themselves in the "good" categ...

And like the comments about the semantics of spirituality/religion, the OP Indian on a horse poster has to do with the definition of "Hell". If Hell is defined as a place of eternal everlasting punishment then one can't have been "through it" and it is only reasonable to be afrai...
