Re: Public shaming
How about this one, “I’m sorry to hear you don’t have the time to serve Jesus, when he found the time to crawl up on a cross for you.” Yep, someone actually said that.

Re: Public shaming
Public shaming is basically a modern version of an old time lynch mob. The targeted victim is tried and convicted by a mob and has no way to defend or protect themselves. This has become especially troublesome on college campus’s, where free speech is under attack and the administration is to coward...

Re: Public shaming
Unfortunately the Bible is ambiguous. There is plenty of scripture promising grace, mercy, forgiveness, and heaven as the reward for being obedient. However, there is also plenty of scripture warning the disobedient believer of punishment, condemnation, and eternal damnation in hell. Liberal believe...

Re: Spies?
Those familiar with Christian history are aware this sort of thing has long roots, except in ancient times those outed were often tortured to death in gruesome ways. The Inquisition & the Salem Witch Hunts are just two examples of such extreme lunacy being done in the name of God. Those that do ...

Re: can anyone explain UU to me?

My wife’s cousin is a member of the UU’s and she’s an atheists, but she is involved in the UU’s. So, how do atheis...

Re: Churches of Christ - graying instead of growing
Religion, IMO, and based on my experience, is all about manipulating people. Liberals and fundamentalists use different tactics but their objectives are the same. Fundamentalism is all about being obedience to laws, rules, and commands. Worshipping and living correctly & obediently. Fear is thei...

Re: Churches of Christ - graying instead of growing
Based on my experience, the key is finding a prospect that believes the Bible is verbally inspired by God, is therefore literally true, and historically accurate. Finding the right prospect is the only difficult part in converting them into the c of C. Ask leading questions, use a preselected script...

Re: Going to Vegas in December!
How many sins can I commit? Give me some ideas, help me out. There's the obvious gambling and whoring, but what else? Lots of good shows to see, some with the talent wearing a costume and some without a costume. Gambling, entertainment, and sex pretty much sums up why people go to Vegas...

If she has comprehensive auto insurance coverage aka other than collision coverage, the repairs might be covered under her auto insurance, less the policy deductible.
