I accepted evolution pretty early in my childhood. There was always a nagging doubt in my mind about the bible -- if it actually was divinely-inspired, why would this supposedly-omniscient being provide us with the inaccurate "six days of creation" just-so story that would be easily debun...

The Dad is also being charged with lewd acts to a child under 14, so there was apparently also sexual abuse. The children didn’t even know what a police officer was, so I’m still trying to figure out how the 17 year old girl knew to call 911, she’s truly a hero for having the courage to do that. The...

I understand how you feel, I have a really hard time with the holidays also. It definitely can feel like they are ganging up on you, especially when several of the faithful fold are together. Plus I am determined not to ever set foot in my parents church again because without a doubt they are a cult...
