I have been working out in the yard for momma today. BH is a good son and helps his momma with yardwork. But I am filthy and dirty. Farrell Till, the author of The Skeptical Review was a Church of Christ preacher. He said preaching and theology classes were not very difficult at all.

I never was a preacher but asked one or two about this. They adamantly believed the textual differences were mostly spelling evariants. If there was any admission of anything more than that it was emphasized it was just one or two passages that doctrinally did not make any difference. I explained to...

I've read the verses about women having long hair in I Corinthians isn't in all textual copies. Some say have a covering some say long hair, some don't have anything about women having a covering or long hair. Textual variants do affect doctrine.

If a large group of people came back from the dead it definitely would be in secular records of the time. I don't think the verses were original to the text neither. Someone pointed out most scholars don't either. The scholars should sleep well knowing they came to the same conclusion as me 😂

Seriously though, you should read some of the descriptions of what hell will be like in the Holy Quran. It will scare little children and adult alike. Hell is actually a living thing and feeds of those sent to it. There is fire and boiling hot water to drink. And a nasty tree with nasty fruit that p...
