Katisha It looks like it depends on how many employees your employer has, as to whether you need to sign up for Medicare Part B to avoid a penalty (i.e. increased cost going forward). This might be true of Part D also. Under current rules, if your employer has 20 or more employees , you don’t have ...

Re: A question for Teresa....

I was on the old board. I think there were two parts to it... one for actual "ex" folks and one for people who were still in. At the time, I was hoping to change the church from within (yeah, right!). One thing that had happened was a conversation with a guy at work where, out of the blue...

Trump and the UN

Can you imagine Trump's anger inside when the audience laughed at him when he started bragging about his accomplishments yesterday? And then on the way out when asked by the press about the laughter he said his comment was meant to get laughs. Seriously?

Re: Bill Maher

As the long time posters on here know I am a non-believer. Agnostic one day and athiest the next. One of my pet peeves is the christian posters on FB that wear their beliefs on their sleeves, always posting memes with a christian theme. But if I were to say something about what I believe they raise ...

Re: Targeting church members

I love AARP. I get discounts at restaurants and all sorts of places. And the little magazine/newspaper is amazingly helpful for advice and information about medicare, retirement accounts, avoiding common scams...sure, they advertise, but I don't mind that too much. I get a LOT of junk mail, and tha...

Are you sure? PC's were still in their infancy at that time. I am not sure modem's were commercially available for home use at that time.

Re: Targeting church members

My step brother and I had not talked to each other in 10 years when he called me at work one day and tried to get me to hold a Zig Ziglar motivational seminar for my employees. That was a very weird and short conversation. It was also ingrained in me from an early age until I left home that if we ne...

Econony is up - What did Trump do to cause that? Nothing Nuke threat is down? - Not according to our intelligence community. Only because Trump said so. Employment is up - This is a cycle caused by cheap money. Cheap money caused avaulable money. Available money caused demand. Demand created jobs to...

Re: July 27, 2016

I read that Prince Charles & Prince William did not want to meet Trump because they think he is a buffoon. Charles is very big on protecting the environment & he does not like what Trump has done. According to the London Sunday Times, they not only didn't WANT to be with the Queen while mee...
