I have an old habit of keeping notes on thoughts, quotes, ideas, etc., that I think are worth hanging onto. I was just looking at some old notes and found this recorded a couple of years ago during a Sunday sermon, while still a full fledged believer:
"We should pray to see the Scriptures in ways that maybe our prejudices have kept us from seeing before."
I will certainly say that I have seen the scriptures very differently than my previous prejudices allowed. I find it rather ironic that this "answered prayer" has resulted in my unbelief.
