I don’t cuss, since I was COC too long to develop the habit. But I recognize several Spanish cuss words just because so many people in my area speak Spanish.

My Mom used to cuss in French Canadian.

Patate crude (Raw Potato)

And if she was really upset: Coliss (Chalice)

A strong cuss word in Spanish is hostia (host; communion wafer).

A sanitized version of it is ostra (oyster), which sounds somewhat like hostia.

I learned all my curse words at work, and in English. I KNOW a few in Spanish, and in German (which is simply crude and frankly, might as well be English) but they don't spring to the tip of my tongue at time of need, so to speak. (all or most of the classic English four letter words are Germanic anyway)

I am told that there are no curse words in Hebrew: everybody curses in Arabic, which is better (for cursing).

But YIDDISH has a rich vocabulary of imaginative cursing, which makes no particular sense but also Yiddish doesn't have a lot of curse WORDS, it just has a lot of CURSES (may you grow like an onion with your head in the ground!)
