No-cults is back

Post by no-cults-4-me »

Hi folks,
I fell away from this site! Arrrrgggg! I'm gonna burn in hell and maggots are gonna eat my eyeballs out and it's gonna hurt like he... well purty bad. Anyway I'm glad that I've found it again. It's been a few years. I had a blast venting about religious excess and it was good to chat with y'all.

Hello NC.This place is like the Hotel California. You can check out but you can never leave. My journey has been Southern Baptist 12 years to Church of Christ 27 years to non denominational for 8 years to non-believer forever.

I got a 10% pay increase when I left religion along with the loss of fear of hell. The realization that the concept of sin only exists in religion was a nice bonus.

Welcome back! Check out the remodeled digs...
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.
