Left the Church Of Christ started a spiritual journey through Disciples of Christ, Lutheran for a decade due to the healing relationship of a Lutheran chaplain in the Army. Retired Army LTC, Now with the Independent Christian Church . Remarried, wife a devout Catholic, we attend each other’s service frequently, preach occasionally, two adopted kids. Nobody could possibly call you boring, either! Fascinating life. Enjoy the board (we hope).
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

We check a lot of the same boxes: former NI preacher, stop-over in Lutheranism, veteran, divorced and remarried, studied at 'denominational' schools - I've even lived in SC! Welcome sir! Share at will.
