Hi Folks,
I've been away from this board for a long time. I've gone through a couple of computers snce I last posted. I ran away from the CoC about 35 years ago. Even though I'm still haunted by memories of those poor empty, shallow deluded people I'm not extremely bothered by running away from them. To me it was another cult created by 'American Christianity' which never really reminded me of Christianity at all.

NI COC for over 30 years, but out for over 40 years now
Mostly Methodist for about 30 years.
Left the UMC in 2019 based on their decision to condemn LGBT+ persons and to discipline Pastors who perform same-sex marriages
