Are you lonesome tonight?

A place to snark and vent about CoC doctrine and/or our experiences in the CoC. This is a place for SUPPORT and AGREEMENT only, not a place to tell someone their experience and feelings are wrong, or why we disagree with them.

Are you lonesome tonight?

Post by singing with drums »

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but this is a Support Only place...
I am a friendly person, laughing often, and people describe me "sweet."
Loneliness soaks in.
Being repeatedly ignored in virtually every arena of life gets old.
Okay, that's my vent.
I am still here.
Did anyone notice?
How many of me are there?
Emily Dickinson understood.
"Are you nobody, too?"
God is good.

Hi kid.

The sun will come out, tomorrow...
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

Thanks, folks.
I guess that I am just feeling frustrated by how reality and hope collide, but do not connect.

I am not lonesome, but maybe bored. So I am going to post something in every section.

I am always alone. Relationships are just too much trouble.
