Celebrating Christmas- church services

A place to snark and vent about CoC doctrine and/or our experiences in the CoC. This is a place for SUPPORT and AGREEMENT only, not a place to tell someone their experience and feelings are wrong, or why we disagree with them.

Celebrating Christmas- church services

Post by Grace »

One of the best things about leaving the CoC is Christmas church services. Just wondered where different members were attending today or tomorrow.

I may go to two churches today. Catholic and a Community Church

Merry Christmas to all. Or Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish members

Happy Holidays to you also.

I remember one year we went to three different neighborhood Christmas services. This year we are going to stay home. My husband is under the weather and I'm tired.

Went to a new community church close to our house. Music was OK, but I missed the organ from my church.

This was the 1st time I ever went to a Christmas Eve service. My church has a contemporary style, and I love it. The building was packed!!

I attended midnight mass this year. Not because I am Catholic just because I have always wanted to go so this year I did. It was standing room only so I stood in the back. The atmosphere was very joyful and celebratory. I can certainly understand why families make this a yearly tradition.
